During my time at Housing Joint Venture, I had the exciting opportunity to be a part of the process of developing a new subdivision from the very beginning. This involved conducting research on the Springfield, Ohio area to understand our target market, creating buyer personas, and using these insights to design the aesthetic and branding for the development. I was able to bring a unique perspective to the project by drawing inspiration from my travels and incorporating it into the design of the homes. Using Revit, we were able to create detailed floorplans and design the exteriors of the homes. We also made sure to incorporate feedback from locals and navigate the permitting process with city officials to ensure that everything was up to code and ready for the ground-breaking. Additionally, we took the time to research the appropriate landscaping for the area to ensure that the development would thrive.
